Export & Payment
A 50% deposit is required to start production, with the remaining balance due two weeks before shipment.

Teak Joinery.
At Bukit Interiors, our teak furniture is built using tried-and-tested joinery techniques that have been trusted in woodworking for generations. Every piece is designed not only to look beautiful, but to remain strong, stable, and functional through everyday use.These include mortise and tenon joints, dovetail joinery, tongue and groove construction. When necessary, our team uses high-quality wood glue, screws, and hidden fasteners to strengthen key structural points without compromising the appearance of the piece.

Kiln-Dried Wood.
All of our teak is carefully kiln-dried before production to reduce moisture content and improve the stability and durability of the finished furniture. The exact moisture level depends on the thickness of the timber, with thinner sections able to reach lower moisture levels than heavier structural components.
As a general guide, teak leaving the kiln:

If wood is 2 cm in thickness, we can get to 10-12 %

If wood is 3 cm in thickness, we can get to 13-15 %

If wood is 4/5 cm in thickness, we can get to 16-20 %
Since Java can be very humid, moisture can return 2-3% prior to shipping. By controlling moisture content before manufacturing, we help minimize the risk of excessive cracking, shrinking, and warping while improving the furniture’s structural stability and long-term performance across different climates.

For larger commercial orders, we can arrange phased container shipments when needed. This means finished goods can be loaded and shipped by container as production is completed, instead of waiting for the entire order to finish at once.
